onLevel 1 Water Restrictions still apply across Sydney
We’ve received some steady rainfall across Sydney and surrounding areas of NSW in recent weeks that has led to a rise in dam levels and an ease on water restrictions back to Level 1. That’s great news for your garden and other restricted usage of water, however the outlook is still uncertain in regards to drought condition relief in the coming months, and Sydney Water is still advising residents to use their most precious resource, water, sparingly across Sydney, the Illawarra and Blue Mountains regions.
What does this mean for water usage around your home?
- Watering your garden is only allowed with a trigger nozzle hose before 10am and after 4pm
- Car washing allowed using a bucket or trigger nozzle, or by using a commercial car wash
- Use of sprinklers is banned
- Hosing hard surfaces is banned, unless required for health and safety reasons.
